House rules

This overview summarises the general house rules in our rental contract. Please also follow the Klein Slangkop Estate rules supplied before booking and your booking confirmation.

Guests and your stay

• Maximum eight people, including children. Additional overnight guests and day visitors require prior agreement.
• No subletting or transfer of access details without written agreement.
• Arrival and departure times are stated in your booking confirmation. Please tell us your expected arrival time and any delays.

Care and consideration

• No smoking or vaping indoors.
• No parties, events or commercial filming. Please respect the neighbours.
• Animals require prior written approval.
• Use water and electricity responsibly. Electric-vehicle charging requires prior agreement.
• Report damage, leaks or security problems to the house manager immediately.

Pool, fireplace and bicycles

Children and non-swimmers need continuous close supervision by a capable adult at the pool. No diving, running or glass near the pool. Follow the fireplace and bicycle instructions and do not use unsafe equipment.

Departure

Arrange inspection and key handover with the house manager. Leave the house reasonably tidy, wash used dishes and place rubbish in the designated bins.

Cameras

Cameras are located outdoors, in the garage and in the living room. They can be switched off on request. There is no external backup. Please contact us before booking for details of the areas covered and any local storage.
